Loved the spacious room with great storage, and the entertainment was really fun, especially the Fakir show.

Honestly, i was nearly impressed with Gouves Bay, but then the gym equipment was embarrassingly broken and dirty—how hard is it to maintain? i expected better air con in my room, you know? i really thought an upgrade would be waiting for me. just couldn't bring myself to give a good review, sadly.

I can't recommend this hotel due to the numerous issues we encountered. During our week-long stay, there were multiple power outages, leaving the beverage machine in the restaurant non-functional, which forced us to walk a distance for drinks during dinner. the hotel misrepresented the nearby beach, claiming it to be sandy when it was actually predominantly pebbles, which was quite disappointing.

Oh, the grilled fish at Votsalo is a catch of the day! Every bite was bursting with freshness—best paired with a local Cretan white wine, of course. Plus, I loved the daily activities like yoga and waterpolo, which kept the whole family entertained, and the DJ was spot on, really upped the vibe!

Food choices were a bit lackluster—proper meals felt few and far between, especially if you're veggie. And the bathroom situation? Let's just say there was more splashing than relaxing, which was a letdown. Still, everything maintains a lovely, sun-soaked ambiance!

Gouves Bay offered a delightful escape with spotlessly clean rooms and an enjoyable variety of fresh, delicious food. The small pebble beach nearby made for serene swimming, while the evening entertainment kept spirits high. A minor issue with shower drainage remained inconsequential to our overall experience.

It is a welcoming hotel with a diverse range of delicious international dishes available for every meal and friendly staff who provide excellent service!

The room I had was quite spacious and equipped with ample storage options, including a safe and functional bathroom with a shower. The nearby beach, just a couple of minutes' walk away, provided a decent spot for swimming, while I also enjoyed some engaging evening entertainment that added a nice touch to the stay.

The food selection was a bit disappointing. it felt repetitive, with the hot meals often only lukewarm, and I experienced some variety issues at the all-inclusive. The pool size really struggled to accommodate everyone, leaving it overcrowded during peak hours, and the enforcement of the sunbed policy was lacking—guests regularly reserved sunbeds all day without using them. I was also put off by the inconsistent quality of some drinks served at the bar—it seemed to vary significantly from day to day.

Why I’m torn on this

The beach nearby offers a peaceful escape and the evening entertainment kept everyone engaged! The staff were genuinely friendly, ensuring a special experience during my stay.

The pool area was stunning, with plenty of sun beds and easy access to the beautiful sandy beaches on either side—simply delightful for a leisurely swim, making my vacation feel like a slice of paradise right at my feet!

Recommend it for couples seeking a relaxed getaway

The staff were so friendly, always available to help when needed! I remember one night at dinner, they had a rock band performing, really brought the place to life! !

Our stay included a mix of positives and negatives. The staff, especially Kosta, provided genuine service, enhancing our experience. While the food offered a broad selection, delays during meal services were frustrating. For the best experience, pack plenty of snacks for the long breaks between meals.
